Feature Screenplays
AS THE ANGELS GIVE: In the near future, where prisons have been replaced by a drug that rehabilitates convicts using their own consciences, an innocent man fights to preserve his sanity at all costs.
1st Runner Up - Creative World Awards, 2016
Finalist - Richmond International Film Festival, 2017
Semi-Finalist - Screenplay Festival, 2017
I co-wrote this with Dan Seiler, my friend from Sei-Ber Films. This was our first script together and it garnered a bit of success on the contest circuit,
even bringing home a First Runner Up prize, which we're very proud of.
THE CITY THAT WALKS ABOVE: A young engineering genius teams up with a band of hostile raiders to dismantle a gargantuan walking city.
This is the last script my friend Dan Seiler and I wrote together (to date) and despite getting completely shut out from the contests we entered,
I think this one may be my personal favorite. It moves fast, has some great action scenes (again, my personal opinion) and has fun characters. It's the kind of
script I want to see on screen - a big budget summer action movie. As it happens, our script hit the contest circuit right around the same time
the Mortal Engines hit the big screen and we ended up looking like a cheap-ass knock-off to a movie that tanked at the box office. Also, our script was built as a
metaphor for something else and I don't think it was readily apparent to first-time readers, so there were a few parts, notably the ending that seemed to fluster
our readers (at least according to the contest feedback). A disappointing final outing for us, but one that I will always personally love.
IN HIS PRESENCE: In Puritan New England, a minister leads the townspeople hunting a coven of witches, only to discover the trail ends with his own daughter.
Semi-Finalist - ScreamFest LA, 2020
Quarter-Finalist - The Script Lab, 2020
I co-wrote this with Dan Seiler, my friend from Sei-Ber Films, who you can find hanging out in the 'people' section. This was our third our fourth script together and the last one that made any noise in the competitions.
NEW AVALON: An unstable young neuroscientist joins forces with the US Army to defeat her estranged father,
whose technological rampage threatens to subvert the foundations of humanity.
Finalist - Pulsar Sci-Fi Screenplay Contest, 2012
Second Prize - 5th Annual StoryPros Awards Screenplay Contest, 2012
This is my first feature-length script, a fun, action-packed science-fiction yarn about brain-hacking.
SABOTEURS: The story of three Colorado women who become environmental activists when an oil company
threatens to destroy their homes.
I co-wrote the latest draft of this with Julia Andersen, my friend from the Denver Screenwriters, who
you can find hanging out in the 'people' section.
